Destruction and Beauty

There are five fires burning in the Gila National Forest, south and west of here, tonight. The smoke is traveling thickly over the miles, settling low against the hills from here down into the valley. Its hard to see the mountain, not 15 miles from here, because of it. It burns the lungs, and stings the eyes.
And then as with all things, there is beauty in destruction. The sunsets, and sunrises, in fire season are often things of wonder and amazement. Tonights sunset was no exception.
